The I-54 Campaign is a result of God blessing our ministry! Our church family is growing, and our current facility is being pushed to the limits. As a result, we believe it is time to move out in bold faith and to address both our current and future facility needs. With the growth comes some wonderful opportunities and a few challenges. Since our current monthly income must be dedicated to our operating budget, we must now focus on a solution to maintain the forward momentum of our vision and mission.
The I-54 Campaign name came from a staff meeting where the Lord reminded us of our prophetic roots as a church. He took us to Isaiah 54:2-3, a passage that helped birth our church.
I-54 is like a superhighway to the corporate destiny God has in store for us. Highways take us from where we are to where we want to be. It is also a reminder that highways always seem to be under construction!
That’s why we are asking every member of our church family to prayerfully consider making a sacrificial commitment, over and above your regular tithes and offerings, to be given over the next three years.
Please read the specific purpose behind The I-54 Campaign. This will provide you with some more specific information about our future path.
These are exciting days in the life of our church! Let’s move ahead together filled with great faith and a firm reliance upon the Lord for His full blessing and provision.
On the journey with you,
Pastor Ron Johnson Jr.
“Enlarge your house; build an addition. Spread out your home, and spare no expense! For you will soon be bursting at the seams. Your descendants will occupy other nations and resettle the ruined cities”. — Isaiah 54:2-3 NLT
PURPOSE
New spacious foyer and main entry into the facility: This will house our welcome center, children’s ministry check-in, a coffee/fellowship area, and an elevator for access to our second floor. This new addition will act as a “spine” connecting each of the previous additions together under one roof. It will allow us to expand south on our 20 acre campus as the need for a larger sanctuary would arise. It will also feature a main entry canopy for drop-offs during inclimate weather.
Newly renovated fellowship hall: This will allow the fellowship hall to better serve as an overflow room for our Sunday morning worship in addition to a multi-purpose room for wedding receptions, baby showers, and Bible studies.
Newly renovated nursery and children’s ministry wing: This will make our children’s wing much more warm, inviting, and secure. This area will feature bright, bold, and clear check in areas for parents to easily identify upon entering the building.
Newly renovated youth center: This will allow us to better serve our ever expanding youth ministry.
New classrooms: These five new classrooms will help us better accommodate small group meetings for Life Groups, Celebrate Recovery groups, etc.
FAQ
How will building help us reach our community for Christ? The I-54 Campaign will allow all of our ministries to grow! The renovation of our nursery and children’s ministry will make it warm, inviting and secure. This area will feature bright, bold and clear check in areas for parents to easily identify upon entering the building. The renovation of our fellowship hall will create an overflow room for our Sunday morning worship services while serving as a multi-purpose room for wedding receptions, baby showers, and Bible studies. We are adding five classrooms in our existing youth sanctuary to accommodate small group meeting areas for life groups and for Celebrate Recovery small groups. And the new construction of a spacious foyer and main entry will act as a “spine” connecting each of the previous additions together under one roof. It will allow us to expand south on our 20-acre campus as the need for a larger sanctuary would arise.
How will we pay for this? In total the new facilities and renovations will cost approximately $3.3 million. As a church family, we must ask if we are willing to sacrifice so others can experience the healing and transformation that only come through a relationship with Christ. It will require each of us to do our part in fulfilling the unique role God intends for us to play. If we all do our part, we are confident the Lord will amaze us with His provision and together we will make an eternal difference.
How can I help? First and foremost, please pray regularly for our I-54 Campaign. We are completely dependent upon the Lord for everything. We need both wisdom and provision. Make a commitment to learn as much as you can about the campaign and the investment it will make in our future. Lastly, give sacrificially. The vision God has granted us can only be achieved through faith and sacrifice. Our obedience opens the door to His supernatural breakthrough. If we do our part, He will do what only He can do.
