theCause’s Youth director and Pastor, Aaron Brown, was ordained on September 8, 2015. He is happily married to his wife and co-director, Lauren, who just gave birth to their first child in January of 2017. Surrounded by a team of young adult youth-leaders, Aaron and Lauren have been serving, guiding, and ministering to youth since May of 2011, and have been married since July 2011.
theCause Core Values:
theCause has two main gatherings each week, and one monthly gathering:
Similar the other life groups held by the church, theCause holds small groups for the youth Monday nights at 6:30. This is a great opportunity for youth to break into small groups of students of similar ages, in a safe environment to share their daily struggles, battles, and burdens, while being encouraged, guided, and ministered to by Pastor Aaron and Lauren, as well as the youth leader staff who help to lead the small groups. We believe that this is a wonderful environment for the youth to truly bond together, and creating a platform of accountability for them to grow in their walk with the Lord.
Every Tuesday night at 6:30 all of our youth gather together for a time of fellowship, worship, and a message from the Word. The services are held in our youth facility, which can be accessed by entering through door 4 of the building. Pastor Aaron enjoys creating a fun, welcoming atmosphere with the now available snack bar, activities, and often games after service, while keeping a focus on God and challenging youth with their relationship and pursuit of the Lord.
Youth Soak Night:
The first Saturday of every month, the youth gather in the main youth facility for a time solely dedicated to prayer and worship. From 6:30 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., we soak in the presence of the Lord to refresh our spirits and to hear from the Lord each month.
Beyond the regularly scheduled services, theCause leadership will hold other events such as game nights, movie nights, and other fun activities to provide a healthy environment for youth to have fun, build relationships, and to invite and introduce new youth to the theCause.
