First year students will also participate in a daily hour of corporate prayer and worship with our staff as well as weekly outreach classes. These include: teaching English as a second language, pro-life activities, ethnic outreach, and inner city evangelism. In the spring semester, they will be part of a ministry team at an Encounter.

Second-year students will intern in a variety of church settings including:
September/October: Rogers Park, Chicago – the most ethnically diverse zip code in America
November/December: Gary, IN – Experience church planting in an inner-city setting
January/February: Crown Point, IN – Understand the practical aspects of the ministry including: church administration; counseling; children’s and youth ministry; custodial; church finances.
March – May: Students will spend eight weeks overseas interning with a Living Stones or network-related missionary.
