Aaron and Lauren Brown

Aaron and Lauren have been serving our youth at Living Stones since May 2011. From a young age, Aaron felt called by God to ministry. After a long year of long distance courting, Aaron moved to Crown Point to pursue Lauren and her dad! And they began serving together in ministry shortly thereafter! Their greatest passions are ministry, youth, discipleship, and pro-life outreach.
On July 1, 2011, Aaron and Lauren were married. They are now expecting their first child in January, 2017. Their greatest passions are ministry, youth, discipleship, and pro-life outreach.
Director of Finance
Ed serves Living Stones in the accounting arena as our Director of Finance. He also leads a weekly lifeGROUP, with his wife, Chris, and teaches a Kingdom Finance course in our ROAR training school.
Ed graduated with a business degree from Elmhurst College in Elmhurst, IL. He has held positions in manufacturing as well as marketing and sales. Industries he has worked in are: insurance and banking; analytical instrumentation, and compressed gases.
He is married to his high school sweetheart - Chris (Director of our Prayer Ministries). They have three children and six grandchildren.
Ed's greatest desire is to see the church grow in numbers and resources to fulfill God's mission. "I can do all this through him who gives me strength" (Philippians 4:13).
Director of Prayer Ministries
Chris, and her husband of 47 years, Ed, enjoy working in the ministry together. Chris heads up our intercessory team at Living Stones; teaches prayer and communication classes in our ROAR training school; and enjoys traveling to the mission field every two years. (She's been to Mongolia three times and Thailand once!) She and Ed are part of our elders team and also lead a lifeGROUP every week.
Chris and Ed were sweethearts at Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, CA. Then they and their three children moved to Crown Point, IN 39 years ago. While her children were in school, Chris finished a bachelor's degree in English at Purdue University.
Chris is passionate about passing a legacy of prayer on to their children (natural and spiritual) that's marked by the faithfulness and friendship of a loving God.
Director of Generation NOW Children's Network
Traci has been the Director of Children's Ministry at Living Stones for the last 15 years. She has a passion for the children to know God in a personal way, to believe in Him, and to walk in His ways at a young age.
Traci gradauted from Lowell High aschool and Horizon Career College as a licensed phlebotomist. She worked at St. Anthony's Hospital in Crown Point, IN for four years and after their daughter was born, she became a stay-at-home mom. That was when her life began to turn around and the passion for helping children know and love God began to rise up in her.
Although she was raised in a Christian home, memorized scriptures, attended church regularly (her dad was the Children's Director), and even worked with children throughout her teen years, yet she never had a personal relationship with the Lord until she was in her 20's. And that's why she has such a passion for children to really know God at a young age!
Traci was the Director of Children's Ministry at Bible Fellowship Church before coming to Living Stones. Her ministry theme scripture is from Ps. 78:4b and 7: We will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, His power, and the wonders He has done. Then they will put their trust in God and would not forget His deeds, but would keep His commands!
Traci is married to Tim Marcotte, and they have two wonderful children - Sierra (17) and Ezekiel (Zeek) who is 7.
Dick Zbell has been a member of Living Stones since 1985. He has served as a deacon, elder, and now as the head of the Board of Trustees.
Born in Youngtown, Ohio in 1936, Dick graduated from Youngstown State University in 1958 with a Bachelor of Engineering. He relocated to Indiana in 1978.
Dick retired from LTV Steel Corporation in 2001 where he was a Maintenance Manager. Now he enjoys working at the church, hunting, fishing, and fellowshipping with friends. He has four sons and four grandchildren. You can reach Dick at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Sheri has been at Living Stones for four years and on staff since 2015. She loves coming to work at the church every day, and will enthusiastically greet you on the phone or in the office. After spending time with her husband , children and grand-children, supporting the ministries at Living Stones is one of her greatest pleasures.
theROAR Training Admin Assistant/ Events Coordinator
Director of Worship Arts
Andrew has served as the Director of Worship Arts for the last two years and with his wife, Debbie, also leads a weekly lifeGROUP.
Andrew hails from the legendary lushness and wild terrains of the East Coast: the Far East coast of Taiwan. But after moving to a different East Coast - Richmond, VA, finishing high school, and graduating from the University of Richmond (culminating in a degree, that to this day he cannot explain - Interdisciplinary Studies), he answered the call of the wild and authentic Chinese food and shipped himself back out to Taiwan on a church planting mission.
Two years later, Andrew returned to the US, embraced his comfort zone, and went back to school. After battling fierce mice and gargantuan rats for two years at Virginia Commonwealth University, he decided he wasn't cut out for the 3 R's (Rodents; Research; and wRiting grants). He escaped his PHD program with a Master's in Pharmacology and answered the call to move to the Midwest.
It is at Living Stones where Andrew found what he had been looking for all along - to live like a true son of the most generous, wise, gracious, and delightful Heavenly Father. A father himself now to a beautiful little boy, Nehemiah (and with another child expected shortly), Andrew loves to see the lost restored to their loving Father. His and Debbie's passion is to see God's love and the Gospel of Jesus Christ be transformative in all arenas of life - from the family, to the Statehouse, to all nations.
