Dr. Ron and Marion Johnson
Dr. Ron Johnson, Jr. and his wife, Marion, serve as senior pastors of LIving Stones Church. In addition to Dr. Ron's pastoral role, he founded and leads the Indiana Pastors' Alliance, a network of pastors, churches, and Christian organizations who have come together to advance and defend the cause of faith, family, and freedom throughout the state of Indiana. He has also been a leader in the Pulpit Initiative, a legal effort designed to protect the First Ammendment rights of pastors in the pulpit. Dr. Ron's passion is to see pastors take a more active role as leaders in their communities.
He is happily married to Marion, his college sweetheart of over 30 years, and they have been blessed with eight children.
Pastors Ron and Carol Johnson, Sr.
Pastors Ron and Carol started Living Stones Church over 35 years ago with a marriage class held in their living room each Sunday afternoon at 4:00pm. And they have faithfully been pastoring, counseling, and ministering to both couples and families ever since - including hosting a marriage class at Living Stones every Sunday afternoon - at 4:00pm!
They are a true apostolic father and mother to the Body of Christ. Pastor Ron carries a powerful anointing for calling out men to step up into their roles as leaders in their family, church, and community. Pastor Carol has a mother's heart and an amazing gift of encouragement and loving!
Pastors Dick and Susie Bashta
Associate and Mission Pastors
Dick and Susie have been pastors at Living Stones since 2006. Dick is also the Director of GlobalROAR Mission and theROAR - a one-year accelerated school for training pastors and missionaries. Susie oversees both the mission and training school offices, directs special events, and is our pastor of Worship Arts.
Their first mission experience was serving on Operation Mobilization's ship, the Doulos, and leading an outreach team in southern Spain. They later directed The 700 Club Counseling Center in New Orleans and met Bro. Rod Aguillard, Founding Pastor of Reserve Church in Reserve, LA (who is now one of Living Stones' Presybters!). Dick served with Bro. Rod in the Gulf Coast area for 21 years as Associate and Mission Pastor; Mission Director of Global Strategy Mission Association (GSMA); and as the Mission Dean of Minister's Training Institute (MTI) in Baker, LA.
In 1999, the Bashta's heard a call from God to devote the rest of their lives to mobilizing the Church to reach the remaining 7000 Unreached People Groups. They moved to Colorado Springs and became the directors of Adopt-A-People Clearinghouse, a ministry which housed the largest database for tracking Unreached People Groups in the world (which they still faithfully maintain).
In the fall of 2004, Dick was asked to speak at a mission conference at Living Stones - and the rest is church history! Dick and Susie have been happily and strategically married for 39 years and have five grown children and seven grandchildren.
Pastor Aaron andLauren Brown
Aaron and Lauren have been serving our youth at Living Stones since May 2011. From a young age, Aaron felt called by God to ministry. He pursued a degree in Biblical Theology from Ministers Training Institute (MTI) in Baton Rouge, LA. Lauren graduated from Valparaiso University in Valparaiso, IN with a degree in nursing.
Aaron and Lauren met at a youth conference sponsored by the Network of Related Pastors (NRP) of which Living Stones is a part. After a long year of long distance courting, Aaron moved to Crown Point to pursue Lauren and her dad! They began serving together in ministry shortly thereafter! Their greatest passions are ministry, youth, discipleship, and pro-life outreach.
